Trio of Oscar Winners Wrap Indie Comedy
The Mid-Hudson Valley continues to attract indie film productions to the region. FURLOUGH, which features 3 Oscar winners – Melissa Leo, Anna Paquin and Whoopi Goldberg, recently wrapped after three weeks of production in the Town of Ulster, City of Kingston and Pine Plains.
The film, also features Tessa Thompson (WESTWORLD) and La La Anthony (POWER). It was penned by Barry Strugatz (MARRIED TO THE MOB) and directed by Laurie Collyer (SHERRYBABY).
What’s being produced is an independent comedy called “Furlough.”
